Resources

We provide a packet of information that includes a list of county, state and national organizations, websites, publications, events, services, etc.   Knowing how and when to use some of those resources is where we can help significantly.

For example, having a list of home health agencies is good but understanding how to evaluate them before engaging one or more, and then how to monitor and assess their services on an ongoing basis, and possibly deal with service deficiencies, is critical.  Quality of home health agencies—and their aides– varies greatly.  We help you avoid “bad experiences” that many caregivers report with some home health aides.  The same is very true with residential facilities, transportation, medical day programs, etc.

Think of it like learning to drive a car.  You could just read a driving manual or you could do that and then get individual, extensive driver training from an expert.  That coaching could save your life and that of your passengers.   Same with Elder Care.   Don’t just review a list of providers; get professional, individualized guidance.   No room for accidents here…
